Increasing your DPS in Phase 1 and 2 of Malygos is all about coordination. Stacking sparks in Phase One is pretty essential (Prot warriors can also help with this by using Concussive Blow), and focus fire in phase 2 is absolutely key (you need two main assists, one for the discs/melee and one for the ranged).

One thing to also look at is a strategy we've started using for phase three. The DPS rotation is 1-1-2, and instead of shielding we use an extra healer. It does require that you stay bunched up, but the DPS increase from the stacking DoTs is really noticeable.
