My understanding of the problems with the DS Galactrix is that they come from its coding. Apparently, it's built with LUA scripting, and is one of the first games (if not the actual first game) on the DS to do so. As such, the coding isn't optimized, and is lagggggggggy. (This explains the lag of touch screen response, as well as the sloooow saving. PQ:Warlords didn't have that problem.)

It really should have been cooked for longer as a new implementation of technology, but since the core gameplay is excellent, I can forgive some implementation foibles. (They really should have dropped or altered the time-based puzzles, though, since the slightly sloppy control is almost always a bigger problem there than the actual notion of a timed puzzle.)

I do wish something could be figured out about the friend's list, but I've been having fun with the game too.

The mini-games are interesting and sometimes capture my attention for longer than completing quests.

Thanks for sharing the screenshot information. I had been playing windowed mode so I had been hitting Print Screen than saving it right away in GIMP. >.<

As for the pets, I ended up buying a couple. It is fun to watch them progress through the trick learning process and how they interact with the surroundings.
