Two years ago was the last time they were in, I think.

Zapping the pink Eleks, and earning a Wolpertinger pet (instead of just buying it) were a lot of fun to me.

They were probably seen as encouraging drinking and got cut out.

I do make it a point to get the hat for my characters, I really like those.

I try to leave the Brewfest area, and the music! The cackling laughter! It won’t stop! It keeps going for five minutes while I’m wandering around in some dark and spooky place, or until I finally get sick of it and toggle the music off and back on again to force it to reset to what it should be.

I second the notion, except that hoping for the brewfest mount to drop day by day in the Blackrock was quite frustrating. I blame achievement systems and my completionist attitude.

Yeah, Oktoberfest is in September. It is a German trick to drink a few weeks longer. ;)

But no I agree, Alliance has it easier than Horde. I remember the first time the Brewfest came and I did it on my horde character. Cursed the entire run through Orgrimmar since it’s a #%()# place to begin with, and doing it on a timed run is just a huge pain in the ass.

And yes, I did MC/BWL back in the days on horde, and I even binded my HS in Badlands, that’s how #%)/#¤ annoying the flight there is ;)

As for the boss… welfare epics is welfare. Using both stamina trinkets on my tank.

Just dismount the ram as soon as the quest is completed.

As for getting to BRD, if you get Direbrew’s Remote you can easilly portal anyone there. Much fun was had half a year later in Naxxramas, poping up this mole machine and having half our raid portalled to the far end of the world :)
