They were created for last years event I beleive– Blizzard like to think ahead like they did with Cataclysm (i’m sure you already know but they started it 3 weeks before WOTLK came out).

Its possible sneaky hints, but unlikely- since MMO-Champion did all the work.

Although, MMO-champions researchdrive was pushed by those masks, so maybe….It certaintly made for an exciting juicy news week!
