EQ2 is a superb game but it definitely needs to smooth out the level experience. Compared to games like WoW, it's not very newbie friendly at all.

When I was in Shanghai several years ago I went shopping with my wife and Uncle, and I looked high & low for a DVD set of the Monkey King that I'd watched as a teenager in Australia on the ABC.

Uncle was happy that I was interested in the legend of the Monkey King and he brought me what was apparently one of the most popular versions in China, starring some of the biggest, most famous Chinese actors. I looked at it and said "No, that's not the one I'm looking for." So he brought me another, almost as popular version, and I turned it down too.

After numerous offerings were rejected a lengthy explanation ensued and Uncle finally realized exactly which version I was looking for. And he became very unhappy. Because that particular version, the one produced/released by the BBC, starred Japanese actors. Oh dear. Sorry, Uncle :(
