One of the things I did notice is that LOTRO raiding is much slower paced than WoW. It takes quite a long time to get going after a wipe because of various death debuffs et al. So in a LOTRO wipe night, you might wipe 3-5 times. In WoW, we’ve wiped over 10 in a wipe night.
